About Me

My name is Jerry Wong, and I have recently graduated from The Art Institute of Vancouver with a Diploma in Game Art and Design.

The reason why I want to be a part of the game industry is because of the games themselves. I believe that games are the new medium for driving emotional experiences. There was a game that positively changed how I felt about life, and that is the kind of experience I want to make for other people. I want everyone to laugh, cry, and feel relaxed while having fun. That is my goal.

I am known to my peers as the "Go To" guy for video games because of my extensive knowledge of video game history and the amount of experience I have with playing video games. Not only have I played a lot of NES games back in the day, I was also playing a lot of PC Engine games which were mostly popular in Asia. I even had a Neo Geo with quite a few games. Currently, I really like playing on my Playstation 3 with all of their quaint Playstation Network games. I do enjoy playing the big budget titles as well.
